Local ministry background:
In the year 2011, when Vojtech was going through a difficult time in his life, he decided to give his life to Jesus. At that time, he became an active member of the brethren church in his home town. Gradually, he became involved in the ministry at the church. The ministry for children and the young generation have always been most important to him.

He joined the HY ministry team in 2023. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, he was more than well trained to lead the HY programs. He offers to schools well-constructed and balanced programs certified by the well-established Christian organization called the Lighthouse.
Vojtech wants to expose children in schools to healthy life values such as the importance of family or the acceptance of self-worth. He leads the programs in a very interactive and interesting way for the children.

Vojtech follows up the school programs by organizing various leisure activities for youth. He wants to establish deeper, more lasting relationships with youth built on healthy values. He wants to be a support for the children and encourage them to make the right and healthy decisions on their often-difficult life path.

How he became a HY Worker:
Vojtech has had many years of experience in serving the young generation. Before the Covid period, he served as a leader of a sports club under the auspices of his home church. He currently leads youth meetings. He has been doing his ministry in his spare time, but has now been given the opportunity to immerse himself in full-time ministry.

He writes: “I have decided to do this because I want to focus fully on working with the young generation, to point out healthy values to today’s youth and pass these on to them.”

Vojtech works under the auspices of the well-established non-profit organization called the Lighthouse. That is a Christian organization in Liberec and its ministry is firmly based on the very active local Moravian Church.
